Workers from an exotic animal park wrangled an 800-pound alligator from a backyard pond in southeastern Oklahoma after its owner died this week.

WYNNEWOOD — Albert, a 12-foot alligator said to have starred in movies and TV commercials, has a new home after workers from G.W. Exotic Animal Park recovered him from a backyard pond in southeastern Oklahoma.

An 800-pound alligator that was kept in a backyard pond in southeastern Oklahoma is now living at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood.
