Performance Gardens will sponsor a free workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Sat. March 21 at 6001 Los Angeles Ave. (Hwy. 118), Somis. The topic will be drought tolerant landscapes and water conservation. The guest speakers will be Jackie Worden and Trisha Munro, owners of Water Wise Gardens Design.
Siblings Erin and Christopher Rogoff share their backyard with chipmunks, squirrels, bats and rabbits. They help their parents fill bird feeders, hang bat boxes, and plant fruits and vegetables to attract wildlife.
